The European Motor Boat Award is the Oscars of water sports. Every year, from new models of boats, one is chosen that brings innovations to the market in its category and is expected to be extremely popular with buyers in the coming year. For the 2025 Boat of the Year, 16 boats have been nominated. The best among them will be determined by a 12-member jury of journalists from Europe’s leading nautical magazines. This year, the boats are not divided into categories as we have seen in the past. The reason is simple: there are more and more boats on the market with characteristics from different categories, making it difficult to draw a clear line between them. The jury will divide the boats into categories only after they have completed on-water tests.<\/p>\n

Which boats will receive the European Boat of the Year award and what the categories will be will be revealed on the first day of the Boot D\u00fcsseldorf boat show, held from January 18 to 26, 2025.<\/p>\n
