In 2022, Elan introduced the long-awaited next generation of its most popular and successful model, the Impression 45.1, named Elan Impression 43. Designed by Humphreys Yacht Design, Pininfarina, and Elan, it quickly established itself as a popular cruising yacht for families and even charter investors. Two years after its release, the yacht will receive an updated design, an extended overall length, and a new name reflecting the yacht’s changes and the historical context of the Impression line.
Elan Impression is known among sailors as a family cruiser, emphasizing ease of sailing, safety, and comfort. Over the years, the yachts have proven to be exceptionally well-built and of high quality in their category. The new Impression 45 features a modern, broad stern hull, enhancing speed and interior volume. So, what does the new Impression 45 bring compared to the Impression 43?
First, the yacht is longer due to the added fixed bowsprit. The cockpit has been enriched with more windows, improving the yacht’s appearance and the spaciousness of the aft cabins. Additionally, the interior salon has been redesigned with a sliding bench, providing more seating, additional storage, and increased comfort at sea.
These improvements do not signal a new direction for Elan’s Impression line of yachts, but rather an adaptation and response to the evolving demands of the market.
