On Wednesday, October 25, the 24th Biograd Boat Show 2022 opened its doors, remaining the largest Croatian nautical show on the water for many years in a row.
More than 300 exhibitors from Croatia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, and many other countries will present themselves at the exhibition area of the fair. Boat enthusiasts can see over 40 boats on the water, presented by more than 20 companies. Some of the boats making their world debut in Biograd include the Monachus Issa 45 Fly by Croatian shipyard Monachus Yachts, the new Impression 43 from Slovenian Elan, and the SuperRIB 27 by Pribudić-Borčić. Also on display are many other boats produced this year, such as the Monachus 70 Fly, the largest production yacht in Croatian shipbuilding history, and the newcomer to the Croatian market, the Pičuljan Squama 21 Open from the Pičuljan Pro-Nautic shipyard on the island of Rab. Numerous luxury boats are also available for viewing at the show, including the Solaris 50 sailboat and several Absolute yacht models, particularly Navetta 68, Navetta 58, Navetta 48, and 48 Coupe. More Ocean presents its Hallberg-Rassy 57 to the Croatian market, Paspartu Yachts debuts its Targo 27.2 TF AD in the Mediterranean, and Aventur showcases its luxury yacht Tesoro T40. Finnish brand Saxdor presents its Saxdor 320 GTC and 320 GTO Sport models, while the Fountaine Pajot MY4.S and Excess 11 debut in the catamaran segment.
Among Slovenian exhibitors, in addition to the already mentioned Elan, Moto Navtika presents many models from its sales program, and visitors can sail with the Ranieri Cayman 28.0 Executive Trofeo and Ranieri Next 240 SH boats. C&G Navigator presents Marinello boats, and Mantas from Ljubljana has premiered a water bike, which we will learn more about next year. Move On from Radovljica offers a range of portable RainMan desalinizers and JetThruster side thrusters, which have been sales hits in Slovenia and Croatia for some time.
In the Charter Expo section, where charter operators and agencies present themselves, the Slovenian company Eol Yachting debuts this year with six new vessels moored in the Veruda Marina in Pula. Confidential sources reveal that their fleet will expand with an additional five new vessels by next year. If you would like to rent a brand new sailboat for your vacation next year, you can contact the company directly or reach out to the charter agency TheSailmaster.
This year’s boat show in Biograd once again justifies its title as the largest nautical show on water in Croatia. Despite the somewhat longer drive from Slovenia, it is worth heading to Biograd. The excellent weather forecast with temperatures over 25°C is yet another reason to visit the show.
