More than 18 years after the launch of the first Elan Impression yacht, the Impression line has become one of the key global players in the family cruiser segment. These “modern classics” have received numerous awards and are widely recognized for their reliability, ease of maintenance and sailing, safety, rigidity, and exceptional durability.
They are synonymous with excellent, carefree relaxation on the water while exploring the world’s seas and oceans with family and friends. Some have even circumnavigated the globe with minimal crew.
Impression yachts are the top choice for many investors, as their exceptional value retention makes them a safe investment in the world’s largest charter markets.
All Elan Impression models have gone through numerous successful iterations, modifications, and updates, but it has been quite some time since a completely new Impression model was introduced. Now is the time.
Following the successful launch of the unique grand tourer Elan GT6 and the sporty Elan E6, the company has decided to introduce an entirely new yacht that will carry the Impression line’s banner. Enter the Elan Impression 43.
This yacht, boasting a modern wide hull, offers significantly more space compared to previous models. Thanks to the enduring tradition of the raised deck saloon, which Elan calls a “semi-deck limousine,” it offers numerous advantages over most competitors.
The hull and sails were designed by the renowned naval architecture studio Humphreys Yacht Design. Rest assured, the yacht will exhibit excellent sailing characteristics, even when fully loaded.
The yacht was designed in collaboration with the design studio Pininfarina. This collaboration, which has earned numerous awards for the Elan E6, continues with the Impression 43.
The hull and sails are optimized for easy sailing with a small crew. Elan’s signature 3D VAIL composite technology ensures a lightweight, rigid, and incredibly safe construction. VAIL, or Vacuum Assisted Infusion Lamination, creates a solid hull free from defects or air bubbles, which, combined with the outer vinylester layer, makes the yacht osmosis-resistant.
The deck, also built using VAIL technology, adds lightness and durability while enhancing the composite’s mechanical properties. Additionally, the construction process is safer for workers and the environment, as it reduces chemical exposure and waste.
The Elan Impression 43 will be officially unveiled at the Biograd Boat Show, taking place at Marina Kornati from October 26 to 30, 2022.
Orders for the yacht are already open.
