In the past year, numerous maritime navigational marks have been built, renovated, or modified across Croatia. These marks are not included in nautical charts purchased before this date, so they must be manually marked on your charts. Additionally, electronic nautical charts must be updated if they are not updated automatically on your device. To avoid misinterpretation of the marks, check whether newly installed or modified marks are included on your charts.
Puntarska Draga, Krk Island
The lateral mark on the left side of the channel before Puntarska Draga on Krk Island has been modified. The left-side mark, which previously lacked a light signal, now emits a red flashing light every two seconds.

Ruda Reef, Koločep Canal
A new cardinal light mark has been installed in Koločep Channel. The mark is located on the northern side of Ruda Reef, between the islands of Lopud to the south and Šipan to the north.

A new special mark has been installed between Budikovac Island and Sanak Reef (southeastern side of Vis Island). The shallow area, where the sea depth does not exceed 1 meter, is now marked with a yellow special mark topped with a yellow cross (X).

Žontuja, Poreč
The Žontuja shallow, approximately 1.2 nmi south of Poreč port and 0.3 nmi west of Mulandarija Bay, has been equipped with three new marks: two cardinal (north and south) and one lateral (port side).

A safe navigational route has been marked at the mouth of the Neretva River. Five new floating light marks have been installed, and two existing marks have been relocated.
