Redesigned Exterior
The most noticeable changes in the Dufour GL 410, compared to previous models, are the straight hull sides and the very wide stern. The hull is hand-built, robust, and reinforced along its entire length with synthetic fibers. The deck is made using a vacuum infusion sandwich process, making it extremely lightweight yet strong and well insulated.
It is immediately noticeable that all the deck equipment is arranged in an extremely rational and simple manner, without unnecessary or complex additions. The designers focused mainly on the essential components. For example, the winches for handling the genoa are positioned on the sides, right next to the steering wheels.
The yacht’s hull is designed for high speeds. The mast is positioned forward, and the boom is placed lower. This increases the sail area and lowers the center of gravity of the main sail forces, primarily helping the crew to easily stow the sails in the lazy bag.
Its superstructure is low, with soft lines, and the gently rising deck forms a rounded whole with the mast, creating an attractive shape without unnecessary decorations. Therefore, we can confidently say that it belongs among the most beautiful yachts.
The Interior Offers Unlimited Possibilities
Life aboard the Grand Large 410 is pure pleasure. This becomes apparent time and again, as its functional design allows the same space to be easily transformed depending on the task, time of day, or desired ambiance.

A sturdy foldable table is installed in the center, integrated into a console at the rear that houses a 12-inch navigation screen (Chartplotter). Inside the table, there is an insulated storage compartment for ice, bottles, and various small items.
The easiest way to board the yacht is through the foldable transom, which impresses with its size and functionality. When opened, the lower part of the stern reveals two useful storage compartments for a folded (inflatable) dinghy and lifeboat. The floor also features two adjustable footrests, which come in handy when operating the yacht at an angle.
Engine
The GL 410 is equipped with a Volvo 40 HP engine, which is more than adequate for smooth, comfortable cruising at nearly 7 knots at 2,000 RPM. Its maximum speed is 8.6 knots at 3,400 RPM.
