Strong northern winds, blowing up to 100 km/h in the Split area over the past few days, together with the powerful sea current, have transformed one of the most famous Adriatic beaches, considered by some as one of the most beautiful in Europe – Zlatni Rat on the island of Brač – in a way never seen before.
Its sandy tip, usually characterized by its distinctive wedge shape, has shifted eastward, creating a form that is not only intriguing due to its uniqueness but also truly awe-inspiring. However, there is no fear that it will remain like this forever, as the sandy formation changes throughout the year depending on wind direction.
